Leadership team
The Northampton Cycling Club is run by a Board of Directors (BOD) comprised of a President, Clerk, Treasurer, and at least seven additional members. We operate under our bylaws. The board of directors meets once per month. Meeting minutes can be viewed below

Sean Condon (co-president) joined the board (for the second time) 2 years ago, when he stepped up to serve as the club's treasurer. When not working on other people's bikes (he owns a mobile bike shop) he likes to get out on his 9.5 bikes (like handbags and shoes – a different one for different occasions – and no, he doesn't play favorites with them). | Jaime Dávila (co-president) is thrilled to have joined the board in 2025, and hopes he can help others enjoy cycling as much as him. His personal cycling goals include raising his FTP above 182, and lowering his average resting heart rate below 45. | Jaap Molenaar (treasurer) grew up in the Netherlands where biking is the common mode of transportation. He moved to the Valley 33 years ago to start a plant nursery. He is glad to have started riding again and happy to be part of this wonderful club of biking enthusiasts. |
Phoebe Gelbard (co-clerk) (she/they) joined the BOD in 2024 and is the chair of the Membership Engagement committee. She enjoys seeing just how far she can ride her bike when fueled by pizza and ice cream (her current record is 618 miles). Ben Jankowski (co-clerk) (he/him) joined the BOD in 2022 and is part of the Sponsorship Committee. He is also a worker/owner of Pedal People, co-creator of the River Valley CX Series, member of Western MA NEMBA, and general advocate of all things rolling and walking. |

Amanda Stenroos joined the NCC board in 2025 and is looking forward to getting more involved in this great cycling community! A Covid-era cyclist, Amanda has come to love all types of riding (road, mtb, gravel) and leads a mountain bike group ride through Valley Bike and Ski Werks. When not building community on a bike, Amanda can be found playing her violin across the valley and planning the Green Mountain Chamber Music Festival (Colchester, VT), for which she is the General Manager.
| Nate Taylor (he/him) joined the BOD in 2025 as a cycling and community enthusiast. He loves fire roads and friends, Mt. Tom and Toby, and the beautiful Poconos of his hometown in Stroudsburg PA. | Lisa Abrams |
